"Close your eyes and listen" Wool Blanket

This cozy wool blanket is the perfect companion for long meditations, as well as for relaxing moments on the couch.

Inspired by my song "The Waters", the quote: "Close your eyes and listen" describes the first step into yourself. The gold-embroidered quote adorns the edge of the blanket.

If you happen to be looking for a moment of peace, this blanket supports you to create this space.
This blanket comes from our partner Manduka, who are professionals in the production of yogic lifestyle products.

According to Patanjali, the author of the Yoga Sutras, Pratyahara, the 5th step, is the drawing of attention from the outer to the inner.

PRODUCT DETAILS

• 1.6 kg; 152 × 208 cm
• 75% recycled wool and 25% recycled synthetic fibers
• Overlock stitching on edge to prevent fraying
• Densely weaved fabric is resistant to stretching

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Dry cleaning recommended. May be hand-washed using a cold, delicate cycle with mild detergents. Hang dry on line (do not tumble-dry). Iron if needed.

SUSTAINABILITY:

The recycled wool blanket is woven from 75% recycled wool fibers and 25% recycled synthetic fibers. Textile waste cuttings, which are typically thrown away, are collected and converted into fiber. This new fiber is then spun into yarn and woven to produce the recycled fabric. Crafted in India.

NOTES

It is often more sustainable to make a fabric from recycled materials than cotton, even if it is fair-trade and made with certified processes and materials. Here we’ve considered factors such as water-use, resource depletion and know-how of the respective production sites during the production of this blanket.
